Arrival Information

Parking; There are various parking possibilities nearby to the apartment. The main piazza is closest where there is parking by the hour during the day, and free parking overnight and at lunchtime 1pm to 3pm. Free parking in the old hospital parking area  five minutes walk away, or outside the town walls, also five minutes away

Activities (on site or nearby) 

Walking; Exquisite walks through nearby forests or numerous surrounding country lanes.

Shopping; The closest large shopping town is Foligno but also nearby to Spoleto Assisi and Perugia for good shopping experiences,

Culinary; There are four excellent restaurants in the town., including L'Alchimista one of Umbria's best. Montefalco won the award for Italy's best red wine in 1998,

Sightseeing; close to major Umbrian towns of historic and artistic interest.

Artistic; Montefalco museum has a beautiful fresco cycle by Benozzo Gozzoli. Nearby musems contain a range of late medieval and early renaissance frescoes including works by Perugino, Filippo Lippi in Spoleto, Signorelli in Orvieto and Pinturicchio in Spello.
